Hello? This is Ser Duncan the Tall. Lord Azuresky--that is, Ser Hikaru--and I are on the southern battlements of the city, overlooking the forest, and there seems to be a host of Orlock and Brando vampires marching towards Montica. Anyone who can fight, we'll need you with u--aaagggh!

[You might think that Dunk has cried out because he's been wounded, but nope, it's entirely because moonrise happened earlier than he thought and he'd just been shocked into a wolf transformation. Or, well, large wolfdog transformation anyway. Which will definitely be born out by the last thing any Readers might hear over the voice log:]

This is Hikaru. No time for a short explanation, you get a long rambling one.

First off, Duncan was bitten by a werewolf and elected to retain that form for the rapid healing. Hence the howl. He’s fine.

Second, we are up to my head and a human’s groin in Brando and Orlock at the gates and very likely you should expect Shenanigans through the sewer tunnels. Post guards. And be prepared to put out dozens of fires, possibly literally.

Amalia has organized a volunteer army and Roberte Guildulf is handling logistics. Inform them, they'll send messengers, contain and fight the flames. Divert our vampiric allies away, most instinctively fear fire.
