I’m given to understand it’s harder to get the free space in Japan, unless you patronize a family restaurant about it. And that Call of the Damned ate Dungeoncrawler’s market share when S3 in it’s wisdom declined to license the Arimath Chronicles.

With the dice all too willing to add dramatic reversals, yes.

But not just. There have been actual fisticuffs over prioritizing storytelling over immersion versus a challenging game, so it pays to be upfront.

But I guess that depends on how attached people get to their characters.

And, hmn, I’m familiar with the type. Less annoyed with its progenitor than its imperfect copies.
