Good afternoon. My name is Ulyssian, I'm amongst the newer arrivals here.

I don't know if introductions are typical, but I figured it would be a good idea. I wish to offer my services to any in need here; I am a trained apothecary, a medicae specialist in more common terms, and a counselor of a sort to my Chapter. If you become injured, or simply desire someone to speak to, I'm glad to assist in any way I can.

I know Astartes can be a bit intimidating for baseline humans, and my voice isn't terribly pleasant to listen to, but it is my honor to aid and defend you as needed, where needed. Please don't hesitate to call upon me.

[There's STILL planets out there who haven't been in contact for a while, it seems.]

It is, as the name suggests, a vast interstellar empire where a million worlds stand together as friends and allies. That number is not exact, it is somewhat higher I believe at this point. We are unified by our common origins as members of humanity, and work together to secure our future and the safety of the galaxy from innumerable threats.

I'm not one of them, I admit. It sounds like you wouldn't be either.

I haven't been here for too long, and from what I've seen, there are a lot of very noble sorts who will rush into danger. (Some with a plan, some without.)

Right now you're bound to this library as I am! I hear there are 'stories' we're sometimes sent on, it isn't ideal circumstances, but it means you'll be able to experience new things away from your city.

Many do, yes, and then the next thing I know I'm dragging them out of a burning land raider. Circumstances inevitably get a little out of hand now and again, it's not really anyone's fault.

It's kind of you to offer such varying levels of health and growth. I'm sure you'll make a fine addition to the library. Perhaps that's why it brought you here in the first place.

Many cherish choice more than structure. I don't agree with it, but I do understand it. Would it help your own time here if you did have someone who gave you orders? There are certain authority figures here who might.
