[ There was a new paper pinned to the bulletin board. The handwriting was very nice and cursive too. ]
Idle hands make fretful minds and who among us really wants to sit still? [Not him, that's for sure. He is losing his mind not having something to do.]
I am offering up my services to anyone who may be seeking help, from the small requests to the large ones. I'm fast; I'm strong; I can fly as well. Do you need something lifted or a book from a high shelf? I'll help with perfect precision.
If there's anyone you can count on to help, you can count on me, Nice. Have no fear~☆

Maybe we can go to the garden? The fresh air might do us some good. Although when I say "maybe" I really do mean maybe.
no subject
Tell me about it. That door hates me.

[ He takes the opportunity to brush his hand against Nice's hair to mess it up, then casually walks back toward the exit of the so-called gym. ]
You know, X said he can ask doors in the Stacks very politely to let him go to a specific location, and the door lets him. Or something like that.

[ Nice lets out an embarrassed sounding voice as he tries to fix his hair, following after Wreck. He doesn't even have a comb to fix this!! How dare! ]
His influence is crazy. I tried to show him the garden but I couldn't get it to reappear. The man knocks on the door once and presto, the door leads back to the garden.
no subject
That checks out. Have you communicated with X yet through your log book? He can transmit his voice through it like it's no big deal.
no subject
But then why was it so much easier to forget that when he didn't have Shang De's voice in his ear? ]
Did he jumpscare you with that too? I swear I must have jumped ten feet in the air when suddenly his voice came out of nowhere.

[ Wreck leads the way into the Stacks. He's really not looking forward to finding a door and having to open it a hundred times to get to the garden. Maybe they'll take turns or something to make it easier. ]
I mean, it's a book. There's no speakers on it, right? So, I try very hard to not think about how he did it.
no subject
[ Nice wasn't confident, but maybe if they could get it to the garden it'd feel a little less... stuffy? ]
no subject
[ Wreck groans a bit, wondering if X is just in the garden waiting for them, ready to laugh at them as they struggle to get inside the room. It isn't long before they come to a stop in front of one of the doors tucked neatly away in the Stacks. ]
Ready for disappointment?

[ He clears his throat and decides to do what X said he'd done. So, he knocks gently on the door first before he makes his request. ]
We'd like to go to the garden, please.
[ With a bracing breath, Wreck opens the door. What reveals itself appears to be a meeting room equipped with a white board scribbled in notes, but no other occupants. ]
Dammit.
[ Wreck throws the door shut and folds his arms. He's never taking X's advice again!! ]
Your turn.

[ Nice moves in close and gives the door a few knocks before he opens it up. Still no garden in sight, but there seems to be a cozy little reading corner behind this door. ]
Guess it was asking too much...
no subject
[ Wreck takes his turn, trying for a second time, although there is no knocking involved. This time, the door leads to a completely barren room. No furniture, no carpet, no pictures.... Wreck just lets the door fall shut afterward. ]
This is our life now, huh?
[ This is embarrassing.... ]
no subject
[ Nice pulls open the door. This room leading to another meeting like room. Or maybe it was the same one as before. Everywhere in this place sort of blends in together after a while. With a heavy sigh, he shuts the door in front of them once more.]
Never mind this door is cursed.
no subject
Could be us. We could be cursed.
[ Is there anything else that he could say to convince the door to let them in? ]
Oh noooo. I hope when I open the door that it's that empty room again. I'm just downright terrified of gardens. I have... botany??? botanyyyy...oo...phobia.
[ Wreck ignores how much he mangled "botanophobia" and pulls open the door. Revealing the garden!!! Which is currently raining quite heavily. Although Wreck keeps the door propped open with his hand, he slides down onto his knees on the floor. ]
Someone's getting a laugh out of this somewhere.... Do you want to try again or walk in the rain and get sick? Please pick the first option.
no subject
This.... is so ridiculous...!
no subject
On one hand, I want to be stubborn and keep trying...
H[ e slowly gets back up onto his feet. ]
On the other hand, I think the garden is actively avoiding us.
no subject
Just.... just what kind of silly room changing door shenanigans are these? it's so ridiculous!
no subject
[ Although he can't hide the smile on his face, he does keep his eyes on the door. He doesn't want to embarrass Nice or give him too much attention while he's being so open with him, or Nice might clam right up again. ]
Guess it's your turn. I believe in you, Nice. Get us a good room. Or at least a big room so we can pace if we can't walk.
no subject
Alright door, give us your best shot.
[ Nice grips the handle again and pulls it open quickly, being completely surprised that the door actually opened to the garden again, but this time it wasn't raining at all. ]
It.... worked? How did that work?
no subject
Hey, you did it....
[ It's a small victory! Not wanting the garden or the door to change its mind, Wreck reaches to grab Nice by the wrist to pull him inside before the garden does something evil like dematerialize or something. ]
no subject
It's official. I will never understand this place...
no subject
[ Once they're both inside safely, Wreck lets go of Nice's wrist and takes a few more tentative steps forward. ]
...This can't really be outside, right? It's a simulation or something?
no subject

[ Wreck groans, letting his shoulders sag briefly before he straightens up again. ]
Sure. Tell me.
