Would anyone, anyone like to explain what in the hells just happened? 'Oh, the town or the spaceship or the book closing sound?' All of it.

Well, before this happened, I had looked at many of the books, and they were mostly unfinished. If the theory that this library is a natural nexus between many words is correct, then I think this is how we are meant to finish the stories. The only trouble is, we can't tell when another story has started if we only have memories that are part of that story.

You're correct, that's a large problem that I see with it. Besides... if it intends for us to finish all the stories we'll be here longer than the span of our natural lives - most of them, at least.

While we could be here longer than our natural lives, it is possible that we have not been the first ones to have been brought here for this specific purpose.

... Do you think the Assistants have been here a while? Maybe they started as people doing this as well.

It's possible. Things like the dormitories and the garden were here before we were, so someone had to set them up.

And those aren't exactly things you usually find in most libraries... I think we should probably ask them.

I agree. Philip at least seems cagey with his answers, but he hasn't been giving me a no directly

Have you reliably encountered any others? Philip is the only one I've been able to talk with.

I have not, though I think there is at least one other from what others have said.
