[Return] [Voice]
[There's a vaguely British-sounding voice emitting from the journals, and those who recognize Nara'a will note it's not his usual calm tone.]
Would anyone, anyone like to explain what in the hells just happened? 'Oh, the town or the spaceship or the book closing sound?' All of it.
[He takes a breath, lets it out.]
Right. Everyone back here? All appendages accounted for?

Chains are a bit tricky without a set of metalcrafting supplies... but a staff I can do. Any particular design you would like atop it?
no subject
Oh, I can imagine. And I can at least still conjure my own. As for the staff- I am not entirely sure. A butterfly, perhaps? I'm not too fond of them, but they're always one of the first creatures that comes to my mind.
[Fortunately enough, he didn't know about his mom and her... special form. Even if some imprinting may have been passed down during the experiments Erich had to endure as a child.]
A chain motif would be too much, perhaps, what would you suggest?
no subject
Hm... I could try a butterfly if you wanted. I think maybe...
[He draws the top of a cane with a swooping design around an orb.]
I could do something like that?
no subject
Heh. I am not really sure why 'butterflies' was my first option, though, I guess we all have irrational thoughts of some sort now and then. And..
[There is a long pause there.]
It looks beautiful. Are you sure it wouldn't be an issue? I can't even begin to imagine how to make anything like that without the use of magicks...
[If only his world had 'crafting'.]
no subject
If you want I can show you how to make things without creation magic. It might be a useful skill to know in case we are in a situation like we were in again.
no subject
I... yes. I would love that. I actually wanted to try something with you if you ever have time to join me in the kitchen. I can summon ingredients, tyou can make things permanent in this world, right? I wonder if what is cooked with items I summon can stay or not...

This is one of the things I've made relatively recently.
[He quickly sketches a relatively intricate set of armor.]
It would be an interesting experiment. I'm no culinary master, but I'm sure we can make something work. And if we eat it before it disappears it should count, yes? It'd be fun to try.
no subject
Oh. that is a beauty. I have no use for armors but I know Themis would have loved to see it. Robes or not, he was a passionate fighter and he would understand defensive clothing better, but still I can tell it's a beauty.
Ah! then would you like to join me for 'research', my friend'? I'm certain I can find plenty of books that do mention ingredients!
no subject
[He doesn't have the heart to tell him of Themis' fate, not yet. It's too hard to talk about.]
Of course. Whatever you pull out I should be able to find some way of eating it. I sometimes grew up with odd gaps in our food stores, depending on what the merchants passing through had, so I've learned to adapt.

[He just knows the Zodiark plan will fail by now... and it already hurts. But, hey, life will continue, right? And it's not like he can change things.]
Should we meet near the kitchens? My inner researcher is currently screaming 'science' in the back of my mind... not that I'd know the first thing about cooking. Everything we got was aetherically sourced in Pandaemonium, it was considered far too risky to get anything from the 'outside'.
no subject
[He sighs internally. It's going to come up eventually, and it's going to be bad.]
All right. I'll see you there soon.
no subject
[It will be. Talking about Lahabrea's fate may be equally unpleasant...]
I will wait for you there, my friend.
[He and his mammet take little time to reach the kitchen. Little 'Themis' is holding a book about 'delicious adventures' and Erich is carrying the rest, it's science time baby!!!!]
