an aid to laundry troubles
[At some handwave-y time shortly after the closing of the Story, a note in an workmanlike cursive hand goes up on the bulletin board:]
If you need a change of clothing, I can make simple tunics and trousers that won't disappear.
Find me:
[A simple doodle of Illarion's face follows: Pointy ears, long hair, blindfold (or veil), malar stripes. Enough to go on when most of the Library is human.
It is signed below the doodle with an eye-and-feather symbol. No name.]
IC UPDATE:
[A few hours after the initial post goes up, an additional sheet of paper is appended to it:]
Payment is not necessary but if you're one of those who can make or find permanent items, you can bring one of the following:
- Fabric
- Thread or gut
- Head/round knife
- Awl
- Leathering needle
- Raising hammer
- Pliers
- Portable anvil
- Hides or leather
NO glitter. We have plenty.

Technically, I may swap between my casual clothing and my judo uniform at leisure. Practically, I shall appreciate the help to not look quite so care-worn.
[And it's not like UNIKOKORO's best isn't still cheap, near-disposable clothing. Oh, and having a spare set of underwear isn't amiss, either.]
I'll also seek recommendations.

Near the circulation desk if you want a third.
Recommendations for what?

In addition, what's distinctive in one place may be a giveaway in another. Ways to disguise our features may be needed.
as for myself-- 148cm. Black hair. Brown eyes. Today it's the blue gi.
[It's signed with 鳥追梅.

Interesting thought. Don't know if the effort on our parts is necessary.
How much have you heard about the one story we experienced?
[He will also assume from the unconscious assumptions behind the description that she's a human, and keep an eye out accordingly from where he's sewing -- has been sewing for hours -- by the circulation desk. By now he's nearly out of bedsheets, but has a respectable stack of simple clothes to show for it.]

[And of course, she smells vividly of iron, soaked to the bone with it. Maybe even deeper, though it has a human shape. As she said, 148cm, but hardly unremarkable; she covers it with loose clothes, but she is hardened and has both upper and lower body strength that are reinforced with the feel of... Sunlight? No, some other sort of light, a strange one, emitting from a blue-burning core where a human's heart might be.]
[She is also writing in a book:]
Not much, yet. A presumption that this will be handled by whatever inserts us, but I've stopped trusting presumptions.

... She matches the description, though the heart's unexpected. That doesn't seem survivable, but then -- he's not viable either.
Rather than write back he lifts a hand to call attention to himself. Waits, not waving, then puts it down when she's near enough to talk.]
Not presuming is wise. My expectation is that spending time hand-sewing a whole costume wardrobe won't be necessary because there are Editors working to solve the problem other ways.
[He speaks with very little inflection but his voice is odd. Distorted. Like there's an echo before he speaks.]

[Her voice is a little lilting, and reminiscent of whatever regional accent or dialect 'back home' was considered 'kind of funny to hear, inherently'. Unless he's from a region like that, in which case she sounds incredibly old-fashioned.]
How's all that, then? I know people are working on making things, but...
