Hello one and all,

My name is Jonathan Harker, some of you may know me, others may not. In my world, I worked as a solicitor's clerk for many years before becoming a proper solicitor. That said, I am rather good at gathering information and putting it into a proper order. The reason I write this is I have a project in mind to hopefully help us in the future.

To those who were part of the story that we experienced recently. I would like to meet with you to gather information on what you recalled or did not. I do understand it may be embarrassing for some, so I will accept anonymous information as well.

I can be found in the Maker space if you would rather speak in person. Thank you all for your time.

I'm afraid I have little to add that wasn't spoken of in that shop.

I am however working actively on a better way to determine who is where in such situations, if I do find a way I will share it.

It would be an excellent way to determine who is and is not safe to engage with. Speak to my brother if you get the opportunity, he'll have an interesting tale for you. I'm unsure he'll be interested in writing it here however.

Hm. The brother with wings specifically. Two more of my kin have appeared, you should also say hello to them but for vastly different reasons.

I fully agree, that is part of why I am trying to gather all the information that I can.

Wait? Is there more than one with wings now? You simply must introduce me to your family, Night Haunter! I would be delighted to meet them.

I have been told there's certain patterns that hold, and will hold, by way of naming schema and possibly behavior pattenrs but I'd prefer something more concrete.

No, only one with wings, I'm afraid. I'm not the only wingless one. They are both nearly my size. There's another in our range here, who wears black robes head to toe, he's not one of my kin but he's charming nonetheless.

If I get the opportunity I will certainly introduce you directly.

[He doesn't really want to be doing this because he's still, in a way, trying to process it himself. But if the information helped others, well, the damage to his ego was simply the price to be paid.

He certainly hoped he made a better impression this time, than snuffling after a stained coat. Just to be safe, he had had a little...beverage to take the edge off. ]

I did? I had no idea, but I did see some people looked different. I do apologize for that. However, let us meet. Would you rather the garden, or the maker space?

[ True to his word he showed up minutes later, still jotting notes in the traveler's journal he had brought from home.

He expected to see Hikaru at a Victorian sewing machine, but what he saw was not what was expected. Moving quietly over, he tipped his head some.]

Good afternoon, Hikaru. I am guessing sewing machines have changed a great deal as well? [ He knew what they looked like, not how to use it at all.]

As most machines have. This isn’t even from my 2047 - closer to the 2019 of Woodhurst.

[He seems to be making a curious one-piece naval uniform, like a bathing suit with a Lieutenant’s armbands.]

Which brings me to my Role as an Actor in that drama.

[Give him a minute to drag his hand down his face.]

Do you recall a young lady who was suspicious of your motives for holding open the door for her, at a public house?

Seems a good idea to me, see if we spot any patterns to who's affected how and why over time.

I don't mind contributing but ah... in person.

Yes, that is exactly what I aim to do.

[It definitely doesn't take long, and he doesn't bother with the door- just wandering through whatever wall happens to be closest. Surprise?]

I did indeed, I have moved to meet a few others, but I can meet you there.

[ The Victorian in his blue suit had arrived just before Charles, having not been far, having just set his journal down when he looked up. Seeing him wander through the door. Those blue eyes went wide.

Give him a moment.]

[What's so surprising- RIGHT.

Charles offers a smile and a light sort of shrug.]

It's a ghost thing. Doors and walls are kinda optional.

[He'll offer a hand out to shake all the same.]

M'Charles. Any relation to Mrs. Mina by chance?

[monstrous_bride]

[She doesn't bother with a note, it's not her way to come announced, really. She'll seek him out in the Maker space, thunking down a chair opposite wherever her is and folding into it, crossing her arms and folding one leg over the other.]

[Enjoy the sudden arrival of a clearly irritated, stitched-together woman who is, also, well over six feet tall - and clearly not entirely human at the very least.]

You're Harker, then?

[ Jonathan had just finished jotting down a note when he heard the thunk of her sitting. Lifting his head, his eyes went wide at first before recognition dawned and he smiled. ]

You must be the Bride! [ Any shock gone as fast as it came, Mina spoke highly of her, so the bride if good as gold in his book.] Mina has told me about you, and yes, how rude of me. [ He offered his cold hand over.] Jonathan Harker, at your service.

[monstrous_bride]

[She hesitates for a moment before shaking back. He's being perfectly friendly and decent, which in her world makes for automatic suspicion.]

I am.

[She sits back afterwards, folding her arms again across her chest. There is a pause.]

What has s- nevermind. [She waves that away with a gloved hand.] Let's get on with it.

[ That was just his way, sadly, it was unlikely to change.

Taking his hand back he lifted the pencil and took up a new page, writing 'The Bride' at the top. ]

Yes, of course. Could you please tell me anything at all you remember from Woodhurst? Did you know we were in a story, or did you have a different life? Anything would be helpful.

My experience was a bizarre one since I had memories of Woodhurst that were fading even as I remembered them. What is more significant is that the library itself seems to have turned a mutation I was ready to be done with forever back on.
