[A note appears on the board, in ludicrously ornate penmanship because this is important. There's an earlier draft on the other side of the piece of paper, written in High Gothic, which was done before Sanguinius remembered most Imperial citizens couldn't understand or read it. So here it is again, in good, copperplate Low Gothic.]

Some of us, in our time here, have picked up skills to acquire things from the books.

If you have other skills that might be useful to some here, please add a note stating what you can offer.

While we are trapped here, we must help each other. It is our best chance to survive and prosper while we can.

The strong have a duty to shield the weak, and the gifted a responsibility to aid those in need.

[There's a small flare of something like envy, but thin, transparent. Ever since meeting Curze here Sanguinius has had a thought, quiet but insistent. What would Curze have been like if he'd been found and raised on Macragge. What would Sanguinius himself had been?

Perhaps the rage in his blood would have been quelled, or channeled.

Into things like hair braiding.

But that was an unworthy thought. They were as their Father intended. That was all. Anything else was wasted thought and disloyalty. ]

Or Lorgar. [War to them seemed sometime like a distraction from their studies. But Sanguinius also does not excel in idleness, not with the curse of his blood gnawing at him.]

Sword, if they have training swords here; fists, if not.

[That's a change, however small, from the Roboute Sanguinius knows, who has no problems with a sword but certainly prefers his power gauntlet.]

The challenge will be the Library understanding that we are not, well, in need of penalty.

How aware is it? Could we notify it, or its crew, of our intentions beforehand?
