This is X. Mrs. Harker has already suggested that we share information concerning our stay here and the changes that we've noticed. I have suggested that once we have gathered enough information we can hold a meeting to discuss our findings and figure out a few solutions to some of the issues we're facing.

[ Like the randomness of food, or the rather strange lack of patterns for the Stacks. ]

But first, due to the nature of where I'm from, I have what you can call an understanding of extraordinary abilities granted through outside forces. I've noticed a change in my own capabilities, and I would like to know if others have noticed their own changes as well.

You don't have to tell us what those changes are. All I want to know if any one else has noticed that they have gained a new talent that allows more control inside the Library.

Natural inclination? I worked in a company that used a lot of voice chats in order to help our team plan for any deviations towards our current projects. So maybe this is a reaction that familiarity?

Fair, though our own linkpearl network was frequently used. So why can't I use that ability?

Maybe you were focused more on navigation than you were on the journal?

Hah, I suppose that's entirely possible. Perhaps we pick up skills based on what we focus on.

It wouldn't be the first time I've picked up a skill without really meaning to.

Could be! We all have a little different way to approach this place after all.

We all do seem to come from very different worlds, as well. I wonder how they figure out which people to pick...

Those that are distracted? Makes me wonder if we aren't the first to get brought here.

I don't know about distracted... I do hope that it's not a problem that we're here rather than home, though. Things tend to... fall apart quickly when I'm not around. ... And often when I am, I suppose.

I think that the powers that be wouldn't want us to split our focus considering where we are. So I wouldn't be surprised if we go back home - if we go back home - and it's the same moment that we left.

I should hope so. I had plans to meet with someone on the moon's surface, and I should hate to miss the appointment - especially given how flighty the man can be...

It always happens when you have plans with someone - suddenly being some where else and having to spend energy to make it in time.

Exactly, and teleportation fees add up...

[He doesn't know who's running the aetheryte up there but the gil disappears from his pockets anyway.]

Well, I don't have to pay any fees... but I always run out of energy drinks.

[ Because he is just a salaryman and he's close to broke. ]

... Is that a kind of potion or tonic?

You can say that. It's like tea or coffee, but made more to boost focus when you feel tired.

... I could have used that in my early days studying magic, heh.

Maybe if I can snag some through whatever force the Library will let us, you can try it.

I'd appreciate that. Though for now it feels like I have too much energy... but being trapped does do that.

I did suggest giving us a gym but I see that there's just space and not much more. Maybe use the Garden to run in?

I've been getting some physical activity done by tending to the garden itself. It's a bit too small for a run, though I suppose I could try to do it in full armor to make it a little harder.

There really isn't much space to do any running and we have a lot of action orientated people roaming around. I'm surprised we haven't gotten any accidents yet.

Same. It's like keeping coeurls in too small of a cage. Eventually someone's going to get hurt.

[defyingreality]

We'll see what the Editing thing is like when it happens. Maybe it will help burn off the excess energy.

I certainly hope so. I'm going to start going mad if I end up stuck in the crafts room for a while. There's going to be twenty seven bows and twelve clubs or something.
