[In the same fine calligraphy as before, the lines slightly rougher as if the writer's hand were shaking, the following message is posted:]

What do you mean we don't even get to keep anything from our journey to that world?

What's the point of going into weird alternate worlds if we can't come out with loot?! Doesn't this place know adventurers have that as the number-three rated motivation for their work?!

There's already so much annoying and problematic about this whole thing, but that on top?!

Damn it, I had plushies and I wanted to keep them...

I think part of the magic that created the library would be the same kind of magic that gets created when you read. If you are reading about something, you wouldn't have the physical object that's described to take with you.

Surely there is a tradeoff involved? Any magic powerful enough to create a world and all the memories we require to be in that world must compensate us with something.
