[Text Post] Wait WHAT?!
[In the same fine calligraphy as before, the lines slightly rougher as if the writer's hand were shaking, the following message is posted:]
What do you mean we don't even get to keep anything from our journey to that world?
What's the point of going into weird alternate worlds if we can't come out with loot?! Doesn't this place know adventurers have that as the number-three rated motivation for their work?!
There's already so much annoying and problematic about this whole thing, but that on top?!
Damn it, I had plushies and I wanted to keep them...
[The last couple periods drag off down the page a bit...]

With her, where she can’t hear, but still.]
You know, those aren’t difficult to sew. I couldn’t manage a Seedling, the rose petals are too complex, but how do you feel about an austrech or owl-bear?

What are the top two rated motivations even supposed to be?

[The written note stops for a bit, before:]
I'd have appreciated the chance to make the best of some of it.

[Long pause time, because he hadn't considered that possibility. All he knows is he met his brother who, unlike him, looked very much like himself, and Curze had tried to kill him. Multiple times. Sibling rivalry wasn't supposed to work like that!]
I'm sorry.
The hardest part of life is not letting the memories we cherish become diminished with what comes after. [His pride in his Legion, his affection for his brother Horus, and Horus's betrayal of a secret... it was hard to deal with.] Anything you craft here would possibly not do the work you want, as it would be a mere simulacrum of what you valued. But you can maybe have more of those experiences here.

Honestly though, I wouldn't know. I spent most of my time hanging out on a roof going 'amazing' at every single thing people were doing.

I too am outraged! My hopes and dreams are dashed in a world without wheeled shoes.

It's just. REALLY annoying.

Your choice of words is fascinating
yet I do understand your point of view.
As for 'plushies', don't you think it'd be possible to recreate them?

I'm a girl from a sailboat-age society who was taught on the memes of the post-information-age due to a weird divine cursblessing, if I'm not managing interesting choice of words, what even is my life?
... Cursblessing makes me think of turducken.

I may be rambling about it because it's the only thing I truly understood between the many you said. Well, beside your gender and your affinity for living at sea.

I think part of the magic that created the library would be the same kind of magic that gets created when you read. If you are reading about something, you wouldn't have the physical object that's described to take with you.
