What do you mean we don't even get to keep anything from our journey to that world?

What's the point of going into weird alternate worlds if we can't come out with loot?! Doesn't this place know adventurers have that as the number-three rated motivation for their work?!

There's already so much annoying and problematic about this whole thing, but that on top?!

Damn it, I had plushies and I wanted to keep them...

I'll definitely have to keep such in mind. I'll admit... Sleeping along the road's gonna be the rough part. When I get to it. Which may be longer, given I'm now here, where at least we have beds.

Ah, well. I've slept outside most of my life. I was from a hunting clan, and while we have camps we didn't really shelter inside unless there was bad weather. And there wasn't much rain where I lived...

Honestly sleeping on soft mattresses was difficult for me to get used to, but you can get used to most things eventually.

Where was that, if I might ask? In Salzberg, shelter was kinda critical most of the time, so..

We're likely from different worlds, but - the Wellwick Wood, between Ul'dah and Gridania.

Huh. Possibly similar-ish? Forestlands would definitely be better for camping than pure open sky... Animals notwithstanding, of course.

It is, but we made do. I suppose everyone growing up does.

If it's all you've known, change is oddly difficult, even if you think the change for the better. That's just... People in general, I think.

True. People stick to what they know a lot of the time. It’s frustrating sometimes, but it’s just in their nature.

The balance of new things to stability... Yeah, that's a whole thing. Frankly, I was about to start a new thing when I wound up here and having a time of it.

I’m a bit annoyed that I’m missing the matches I’m supposed to fight in, though hopefully time won’t proceed as swiftly there as it does here. The Assistants have said it doesn’t, but… trusting them may or may not be a good idea.

That's. Yeah. And we can't be sure if that's malice or them genuinely not knowing.

Well, that could really suck for some and be really good for others? So that's a thing.

It could. We just don’t know anything for sure.
