[Text Post] Wait WHAT?!
[In the same fine calligraphy as before, the lines slightly rougher as if the writer's hand were shaking, the following message is posted:]
What do you mean we don't even get to keep anything from our journey to that world?
What's the point of going into weird alternate worlds if we can't come out with loot?! Doesn't this place know adventurers have that as the number-three rated motivation for their work?!
There's already so much annoying and problematic about this whole thing, but that on top?!
Damn it, I had plushies and I wanted to keep them...
[The last couple periods drag off down the page a bit...]

So even stuff acquired that way is a no-go.

What kind of plushies did you end up buying in the story?

Skipping the details, it was my first chance to do anything like that, being from a different timeframe, so it was kinda special and having the actual items torn away hurt quite a bit as a result...

Yeah, I can see why in that case. I know it wouldn't be the same, but you could always have one made here? If us getting sucked into stories is going to be a regular thing, you could even use it as a way to document each story by having a plushie made for each story.

[She's definitely tempted by being able to make things...]

Oh, and you know, while it doesn't have the same physicality to it, you could keep a sketchbook. Then you could sketch out memories of your time in the story. I know it's not the same as getting to keep something from the story itself, but that comes kind of close, doesn't it?

And yeah... The 'completeness' thing is. A thing.
