[This is written in a fairly neat handwriting, in a language that may look roughly similar to Arabic to those familiar with it. The paper on the bulletin board has a small note on top, with a lot of space on the rest of the page for people to fill in as needed.]
Since we're all from different worlds and cultures I think there are a few things we should probably get sorted out as a group. First thing should probably be how to address each other. Go ahead and write your name/title/what you want to be called, your gender identifier if that's important to you, and pronouns to use for you.
Kai, he/him

Oh.
[How...how else do you answer that?]
I enjoy your company also.

Are you blushing? Tell me you're not blushing.

This is public.
??????
[Surely that was fine, right?]

[She draws the brush back over 'Are you blushing? Tell me you're not blushing', covering it like a censor bar. And cackles. Now it looks like she'd written something obscene.]

There is nothing untoward happening here. [It's all pure as the driven snow, OKAY?]

I would say not.
Good for you!

Lady Hisako is merely being pleasant.
In her way.
no subject
[Hee hee hee hee.]
She is simply more pleasant to you than others. Surely a promising sign.

I strive to be friendly to everyone. [MOSTLY it works. The SecUnit was a tragic failure he was still trying to untangle.] I am sure she is diplomatic.
no subject
It's all right to be more than friendly.
[That is deliberately ambiguous!]

Cherry blossoms undying
A pleasant Stormwing
[why am I writing haiku now]

Beyond the Judge's pitiless stare, beyond the wide crocus-field half-eyed in forever twilight, the flowers of Prav are said to never fade.
[hey hisako did it hurt when u fell from heaven--]

This library hates
Extemporizing in verse!
Censored! I could bite!

Now it, too, has flown to Prav like all other ended tales.

The Library is very particular.

So is there a finished Library on the other side of this? Or would that be impossible due to all the receiving new works? Is 'finished' the same as 'static'?
no subject
Stands to reason there would be. Otherwise the Library wants us to finish stories just to annihilate them which is bad cosmology.
[He'll ACCEPT it but how distasteful.
also tfw ur alt has a definite answer to that one and you punch yourself not to metagame]There seems to be degrees. I can finish things but they can't be done to my total satisfaction. Something has to be a little wrong about them.
But a different wrong from leaving a piece out or undone.

[and... oh, no. No. How did it get this long. ...The point is that she's finding an absurdly pretentious, affected way to poke fun at herself for how often she just writes partial poems and pulls out the stops, pausing between stanzas to think of what's next.]
Kindly Balash says, you really must
submit a finished poem, said to
She, who once burned deep yellow green
Now in shouting crimson-gold, watching
The flight and fall of sunbirds
The flight and swirl of moonbirds
Uusoae's beckoning reach,
The skies lit with mortal wars
An egg trembling, incipient
Said she, All is poetry. There is no finish
Is the world left undone?
That's not my point, claims Balash
You can actually refine your work
And not just leave it there, but complete it.
Preserve it for others to see
Remember it was you who came desiring
(Conspicuous placeholder text)
You are complaining that water is wet
The truth then: I am lazy, my motivation wings away
It is easier to mid sentence
[Then up top as the title:]
THE VINDICATION OF HISAKO
no subject
[Might that be the faint sound of applause, from somewhere in the Library?]
You seem to be getting the hang of it.
Enough time here and you will be able to come back and refine what you've done.
no subject
Well I have nothing but time.
