[This is written in a fairly neat handwriting, in a language that may look roughly similar to Arabic to those familiar with it. The paper on the bulletin board has a small note on top, with a lot of space on the rest of the page for people to fill in as needed.]

Since we're all from different worlds and cultures I think there are a few things we should probably get sorted out as a group. First thing should probably be how to address each other. Go ahead and write your name/title/what you want to be called, your gender identifier if that's important to you, and pronouns to use for you.

It's the first thing anyone ever gave me. Why wouldn't I like it? I could choose some other name, but it would simply have some similar meaning when translated back to its original language.

Someone gave me a name once, too. And a Purpose. I didn't like either, much. So now I'm just Crowley.

Probably. And after it was inscribed on cuneiform tablets a few times it just felt rude to change it.

I have a sibling who will be delighted to meet you if you can read cuneiform. It's so rare these days.

Anything at all? If this place didn't automatically translate everything I'd put that to the test simply for curiosity's sake.

I dunno. Maybe it would only work on languages created by humans? I've never encountered any other sort, apart from my native language of course.

I'm afraid I've not encountered Aeldari writing, but I am told there are xenos here, and not merely a variety of mutants. If you ask, someone might be able to indulge.
