[This is written in a fairly neat handwriting, in a language that may look roughly similar to Arabic to those familiar with it. The paper on the bulletin board has a small note on top, with a lot of space on the rest of the page for people to fill in as needed.]
Since we're all from different worlds and cultures I think there are a few things we should probably get sorted out as a group. First thing should probably be how to address each other. Go ahead and write your name/title/what you want to be called, your gender identifier if that's important to you, and pronouns to use for you.
Kai, he/him

I'll be glad my America has passed through the Screaming Twenties into a reinaissance, then, and offer condolences for your situation, but the anime and manga industry is hugely popular in that part of my world, and god bless it for translating Journey To The Core in particular. Having Sonny Wukong introduce himself with "IT'S YABOI" was the exceedingly correct choice.

I was never really into anime and manga. I know Maki and her dad were really into it - something about military tech and transforming robots and heroes. I only really know what I've heard from other students. I was usually reading science books.

Seems like the way the library translates for us makes some things like this a little different too. Good to know.
Your language has more of a focus on your personal pronouns? The ones I know primarily focus on the ones you use in reference to other people which is why I asked.

I think that's how it works, at least.

Something to keep in mind if there's some difficulty communicating I guess.
